Abstrak
Evaluation of teacher performance is a process of systematically collecting data carried out by appraisers on employee work goals and work behavior. In the assessment process that will be determined by the school so that it helps teachers to be the best, there are several criteria. The aim of this is for teachers to teach with enthusiasm and provide service to the school and provide good knowledge to students.
Which in the process of determining the best teacher becomes difficult because the assessment must be based on agreed criteria, namely role models, discipline, honesty, interaction in class and responsibility. The problem is the difficulty of making decisions manually. Therefore a computerized system is needed so that it is able to determine outstanding teachers using the TOPSIS method to rank which alternatives have the highest scores so that schools can determine outstanding teachers.
The final result of the design is capable of producing the application of a decision support system for selecting outstanding teachers with the Topsis method, which is expected to facilitate decision making in determining outstanding teachers.
