PENERAPAN IMAGE PROCESSING DAN FUZZY C-MEANS CLUSTERING (FCM) UNTUK DETEKSI VARIETAS GABAH PADI `

Abstrak

Indonesia is one of the largest rice producing countries in Asia. Rice is the main food crop for Indonesian people. Rice plants can be harvested two or three times a year. However, some farmers still do not have specific knowledge about the right time to harvest rice. Information technology can be used to help solve problems in agriculture, especially rice plants. So the purpose of this research is to build an application of rice harvest detection system. Detection and recognition of objects in the image has been developed. One method that can be used is Fuzzy CMeans Clustering (FCM). One of the parameters of farmers in determining the time of rice harvest is to see the color of the yellow rice grain. Utilizing the color of the rice grain, a detection system can be made to determine rice varieties. The detection system is built using image processing through the Graphic User Interface (GUI) Toolbox from MATLAB which can help facilitate research and document it for further research purposes. The results of the accuracy or success of the system made have met the desired target of 93.51%.
