Abstrak
The benefits of using wifi are now felt and can be seen from the increasing number of wifi service providers. It is very easy for the community to access the internet without having to use a cable, namely with a hotspot. The reason people choose wifi technology is because it is cheaper and easier to use.
Free wifi is a community service program and makes it easier for the public to dig up information and has been installed in strategic places such as government offices, hospitals, and other public facilities where not many people know about the location of this free wifi due to lack of information about the location that is already available, facilitated the free wifi.
The design of the system in this study uses Data Flow Diagrams and relations between tables. The application is designed using ArcView GIS 3.3 and Visual Basic 6.0. As for determining the location point using 2 maps with different scales so that point placement is more accurate.
