Abstract
Providing chicken feed and monitoring the temperature in the chicken coop is something that must be done continuously to maintain the health of chickens. Feeding the chickens manually and monitoring the temperature in the chicken coop requires a lot of energy and time.
The result of this automatic chicken feed tool is that the feed will automatically open on a schedule determined by the time the tool's chicken feed door lasts for 2 seconds (you can change the duration of the opening of the chicken feed door or add the schedule via the Arduino IDE software) and when the chicken feed has run out , then the LDR light sensor will receive light from the diode laser and the buzzer will sound indicating that the chicken feed has run out.
The results of monitoring this temperature, namely the DHT11 sensor, will read the temperature in the cage, the results will be displayed on the LCD. If the temperature is read below 30oC (normal temperature), then the 220 volt lamp will be active as a heater for the chicken and the temperature of the cage. If the temperature is read above 30oC (normal temperature), then the blower fan will activate as a cold reduction at the temperature of the cage.
