RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI JASA EXPEDISI PADA PT. INAYAH BINTANG BORNEO

Abstract

PT. Inayah Bintang Borneo is one of the companies engaged in the management of transportation in the South Kalimantan region. PT. Inayah Bintang Borneo in its operational activities has used computer assistance, such as in the process of making receipts of goods, making memorandum of transportation management services fees, making transportation document issuance letters, making memorandum of delivery of goods and the process of calculating costs. However, all processes that are already using the computer are still felt to be less effective because all data regarding the process of handling the transportation is still not using a database or storage in one file and an application that can manage all transportation arrangements in a same application so that it will be easier in the process data storage, data search and report generation.

To overcome the existing obstacles, we need an application that is expected to make it easier to do the data processing of all transportation arrangements and the cost calculation process quickly and easily and stored in one integrated database making it easier to store data, search data and report generation. This application was created using Visual Basic 2010 and Microsoft Access programming languages.

The final result of this research is the creation of an application that can be used to simplify and speed up the data processing of transportation management services at PT. Inayah Borneo. This application can also facilitate the process of finding data, making reports on transportation management services, making notes and making travel letters related to transportation management services. In addition, this application also makes it easier to calculate the cost of transportation management services .
