Abstract

Apart from being known as a region rich in natural resources, South Kalimantan also has a myriad of diverse tourism potentials, both natural and cultural. South Kalimantan itself has several beautiful and interesting tourist attractions, but not many people know about the various tourist attractions in South Kalimantan, because the technology for delivering tourism information is still not optimal. Currently the Tourism Office (Dispar) of South Kalimantan Province does not yet have a tourism data information system as a promotional medium for tourists.
In the new normal era, a technological approach is needed as a medium for publishing information in accordance with the work program of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) to support the recovery of the tourism sector and the creative economy according to those that have been hit hard by the pandemic.
With the development of a web-based tourism information system in South Kalimantan province, this can help promote tourism and is useful for helping visitors or tourists to find tourist information and tourism diversity. As well as functioning as a promotional medium for tourism areas whose information can be accessed anywhere at any time regardless of distance and time.
