Abstract

The Campus of the Indonesian College of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK) Banjarmasin has Field Work Practice (PKL) activities. PKL is an activity that must be carried out by students and this activity is carried out outside the campus. PKL student registration which is done manually is not very helpful. Students must come to campus and wait to register and retrieve the finished letter.
There are several languages that can be used to develop a website. PHP is a programming language that is currently quite popular. But sometimes developers find it difficult to build websites because they have to load the appearance, logic, and data access in one file. But using the MVC architecture (Model, View, Controller) will help developers in developing a website. MVC architecture (Model, View, Controller) will separate the data (model), view (view), and controller (controller) so that development will be easier. In its implementation, many developers will use the MVC architecture (Model, View, Controller) and take advantage of the framework.
In accordance with the problems described above, in this research students need a website for registration of PKL so that students can more easily register which website uses the MVC architecture to make it easy to develop.
The final result of this research is the creation of a website which implements the MVC architecture and can be used to simplify the PKL registration process, saving energy and time in its implementation and organizing data related to PKL.
