Abstract
Every day, marketing from PT Sefas Pelindotama in the Kalimantan area moves to market Shell lubricant products to customers in the Kalimantan area. Every marketing must be able to meet sales targets every month so that the level of sales from the company continues to increase. It is necessary to implement a strategy in order to know the number of customer requests for oil products offered by the company. The strategy applied can be through an application that can predict from the results of analysis of customer demand data in the previous period.
In processing the data carried out in this study are observations, interviews, documentation and literature. From the analysis carried out and the system developed in terms of developing and implementing an information system for analyzing the supply of oil products by applying the Linear Regression method to the application. Where this research was conducted at PT Sefas Pelindotama Area Kalimantan which is the official distributor of Shell Lubricants appointed by PT Shell Indonesia.
The results of the research include the forms generated in this information system consisting of user data forms, marketing data forms, oil product data forms, customer data forms, oil product supply data forms and oil demand prediction forms using the Linear Regression method. Reports generated to facilitate administrative reports include oil product data reports, marketing data reports, customer data reports, oil product supply data reports and prediction results data reports.
