Abstract

The development of data mining as an increase in algorithmic calculations has led to the development of many new methods in decision-making systems in the work environment.
This study used the Promethee 2 method with the MCDM (Multiple Criteria Decision Making) technique. Decision making is done by selecting or formulating different attributes, objectives, and goals, so attributes, objectives and goals are considered as criteria. The criteria are built from basic human needs and the values they want, as an alternative in making decisions in the selection of a public / equivalent high school as a target in choosing a place for future campus promotions using several choice categories and sub-categories.
The use of promethee is to determine and generate decisions from several alternatives. The main problem is simplicity, clarity and stability. Promethee functions to process data, both qualitative data at the same time. Where all data are combined into one with the weight of the assessment that has been obtained through an assessment or survey. By using approximately 1500 datasets taken from the academic section and PMB (New Student Admission) and processed with algorithms and selected with each specified weighting criteria, the results of the assessment are included in the promethee algorithm calculation in analyzing student students from various regions with algorithmic calculations are expected to be input for the campus in determining the feasibility of becoming the most effective promotion venue for future campus promotions.
