Abstract
The local community empowerment service is one of the institutions / offices under the regent. All remote community empowerment activities must be reported directly to the Regent. The current reporting system still uses paper media, namely by providing files directly to the Regent. All activities must be typed into Microsoft Office first, but the problem that often occurs is the time required in making reports is very long, even more so in making annual reports that must collect and type all activities for a full year. In addition, the data search also takes time because they have to open the word file and look for it one by one.
To overcome these problems, we need an information system that can be accessed directly by the community and also the central government, so that remote community empowerment activities can be reported directly using the website. The programming languages used are PHP and MySQL.
The results of this study are the creation of a web-based remote community empowerment information system in the Tabalong Regency. This information system can make it easier to manage and store data on remote community empowerment activities. This remote community empowerment information system can also make it easier to do searches quickly and also helps in making reports on community empowerment activities. In addition, this information system can also convey information directly to the community about empowerment activities carried out by the Office of Community Empowerment in Tabalong.
