Abstract

The Banjarmasin City Department of Industry and Trade requires an information system to assess criteria for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and manage related data efficiently. The proposed system aims to simplify MSME data recording and provide comprehensive reporting capabilities. To achieve this, an information system was developed to accommodate all relevant data and generate various reports required by the department.
The study applies the Weighted Product (WP) method to rank MSMEs based on selected criteria. The system stores and manages various types of MSME data, including business data, location information, and criteria calculation results. It also generates multiple reports, such as business data reports, criteria reports, location data reports, and calculation result reports.
The results indicate that the system effectively ranks MSMEs for empowerment purposes and streamlines the management and reporting of MSME-related information. In conclusion, the system provides accessible and structured insights into MSME data, enhancing decision-making for the Banjarmasin City Department of Industry and Trade.
