Abstract

As one of the Islamic Education Foundations of the Darul Azhar Orphan Palace which is under the auspices of Haji Muhammad Zairullah Azhar which is located on Jalan Batu Benawa, Simpang Empat District, Tanah Bumbu Regency.
Opening Registration for children who are willing to live and study at the Islamic Education Foundation of the Darul Azhar Orphan Palace for students who are orphans and unable to continue their education, but for now the facilities available are limited, to determine students who are entitled to enter the Education Foundation, the Darul Azhar Foundation still uses a manual method, namely by comparing one by one the prospective students, which causes the registration and selection process to take a lot of time and often errors occur when filling in prospective student data and because the number of prospective student data is too much, this study aims to build a decision support system to help the Foundation in compiling student data easily and the selection of students becomes structured to enter the Darul Azhar Education Foundation, using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method, while the programming language uses PHP.
It has been tested and runs well according to its functions and in accordance with the previously made design, it is able to provide ranking of prospective students according to the specified criteria.
